The Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) held the 10th JIIA-KINU Conference on September 6, 2023, in Seoul. This Conference has been held regularly since 2014 with the Korea Institute for National Unification, the ROK (KINU).

Experts from both Japan and the ROK participated in this discussion and exchanged views on (1) Evaluation of North Korea's domestic and foreign policies and future prospects, (2) Changes in the situation around the Korean Peninsula and Japan-U.S.-Korea security cooperation.
