The Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) held the 8th JIIA-INSS Conference on April 27, 2021 (online meeting). This Conference has been held regularly since 2010 with the Institute for National Security Strategy, ROK (INSS).

Experts from Japan and ROK participated in this discussion and exchanged opinions on (1) the current situation and prospects of the situation in Northeast Asia, (2) evaluation of the situation in North Korea and measures to be taken by Japan and ROK.

JIIA and INSS agreed to continue regular discussions.
