On October 14, 2025, the Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) held its regular dialogue with the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR) in Tokyo.

Researchers and experts from both Japan and China engaged in a lively exchange of views on Japan-U.S., China-U.S., and Japan-China relations, as well as broader international developments. The delegations were headed by Mr. Tomoyuki Yoshida, Chief Executive Director of JIIA, and Dr. Li Kai, Vice President of CICIR.
