Dr. Syed Azman (MALAYSIA) was Lecturer, DEPT. of Administrative Studies & Politics, University of Malaya. His research topic was "Islamic Revivalism in Malaysia - was it for Real or Just a Political Tool?"
Ms. Sawanee Supkitchongcharoen (THAILAND) was Policy and Plan Analyst, Overall Planning Division, National Economic and Social Development Board. Her research topic was " Regional Economic Cooperation - Lessons from ASEAN."
Mr. Sarkissov Denis (RUSSIA) was Research Assistant, U.S.& Canada Studies Institute. His research topic was "The Chinese Factor in U.S. and Japanese Policies."
Ms. Arlita Labenia Tayko (PHILIPPINES) was Researcher, Policy Research Division, Office of Strategic and Special Studies. Her research topic was "American Alliances in Post-Cold War East Asia- Implications on Regional Security."
Mr. Viroth Sundara (LAOS) was Director of Political and security Division, Political and security Division, ASEAN Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. His research topic was "ASEAN and New Challenges."
Ms. Le Linh Lan (VIETNAM) was Research fellow and chief, Bureau for international cooperation and administration, Bureau for international cooperation and administration.
Mr. Kamchybek Omurzakov (KYRGYSTAN) was Deputy of Head Methodology, Division State Department on Anti-Monopoly, State Department on Anti-monopoly Policy Ministry of Economy Kyrgyz Republic. His research topic was "The Japanese Government's Policy on Promotion of SMEs: Lessons for Kyrgyzstan."
Dr. Askar Shomanov (KAZAKHSTAN) was Research fellow, Centre for Political Studies, Institute for Development of Kazakhstan. His research topic was "The Development of Lobbyism in Kazakhstan."
Mr. Xu Jian (CHINA) was Deputy Director, Department of Asian Affairs, Minisitry of Foreign Affairs. His research topic was "Principal Characteristics of Japan's Foreign Policy and Sino-Japanese Relation"
