  • Mr. Craig Thompson (U.K.) was Scholar, The Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation. His research topic was "An Examination of Factors that Influence Japanese Approaches to Theatre Missile Defense."

  • Prof. Victor Larin (RUSSIA) was Director, Institute of History, Archaeology and Ethnography of the Peoples of the Far East Russian Academy of Sceinces Far Eastern Branch. His research topic was "China and Japan in the Context of Interests and Perspectives of the Russian Far East."

  • Dr. Caesar Cororaton (PHILIPPINES) was Fellow II / Research, Philippine Institute for Development Studies. His research topic was "Technological Innovations in Japan and S&T Experiences in the Philippines: (Drawing Policy Lessons for the Philippines)."
