Dr. Pavel FLANDERKA (CZECH REPUBLIC) was Associate Professor, Department of Far Eastern Studies, Palacky University, Philosophical Faculty. His research topic was "Territorial Problems and Their Reflection in International Relations of Japan and Neighboring Countries ."
Dr. Orifjan NAMOZOV (UZBEKISTAN) was Director First Deputy, Research Institute of Finance and Price(RIFP), Ministry of Finance. His research topic was "Role of Financial Sector Reforms in East Asia Catching-up Market Development : Selective Experiences and Implications for Uzbekistan."
Dr. WANG Jian (CHINA) was Associate Researcher, Institute of World History, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. His research topic was "China's Accession to the WTO and the Future of Sino-Japanese Economic Relations"
Mr. Andrei LEVCHUK (RUSSIA) was Researcher, The Department of Complex Problems of International Affairs, The Institute of Oriental Studies of Russian Academy of Sciences. His research topic was "Evolution of Japan-U.S. Alliance and the Okinawa Problem."
Dr. Mely ANTHONY (PHILIPPINES) was Senior Analyst, The Secretariat of CSCAP, Institute of Strategic and International Studies(ISIS), Malaysia. Her research topic was "Human Security as a Framework for Security Cooperation in the Asia Pacific."
Dr. TRAN Nhung (VIETNAM) was Researcher, Japanese Political and Social Studies, Center for Japan Studies, National Centre for Social and Human Sciences. His research topic was "Lessons Learnt from Japanese Agricultural Development Measures for Vietnam."
Dr. G. V. C. Naidu (INDIA) was Research Fellow, Japan, Southeast Asia, Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses. His research topic was "India-Japan Relations : Framework for Cooperation."
