The 41st JIIA-IFANS Conference

The Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) held the 41st JIIA-IFANS Conference on May 29, 2026, in Tokyo. This Conference has been held since 1986 with the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security, Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA-IFANS).

Experts from both Japan and the ROK, headed by Mr Tomoyuki Yoshida, Chef Executive Director of JIIA and Mr. KANG Myongil, Senior Executive Director of KNDA-IFANS, participated in this discussion and exchanged views on (1) Uncertainty in the International Order and the Response of Japan and ROK, (2) Japan-ROK Relations / Japan-U.S.-ROK Relations.
