Dr. Ngo Xuan Binh (VIETNAM) was with the Institute of World Economy, The National Center for Social Sciences and Humanities of Vietnam. His research topic was "Certain Aspects of the U.S. - Japan Relationship after the Cold War and the Impacts on Vietnam's Economic Development."
Dr. Khakimov Shukhrat (UZBEKISTAN) was with the Institute of World Problems under the President of Uzbekistan. His research topic was "Uzbekistan's Strategic Integration into the World Community and Aspects of Mutual Co-optation Between Uzbekistan and Japan."
Dr. Fomin Sergey Sergeevich (UKRAINE) was with the Institute of World Economy and International Relations, Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. His research topic was "The Ukrainian Economy : Latest Developments and Policies to be Adopted Including the Japanese Experience."
Prof. Prasert Chittiwatanapong (THAILAND) was with the Faculty of Political Science, Thammasat University. His research topic was "Japan's Role in Regional Conflict - Resolution in Southeast Asia : The Case of the Cambodian Problem."

Dr. Guudain Tumurchuluun (MONGOLIA) was with the Faculty of International Relations, Foreign Service School of Mongolian National University. His research topic was "China's Foreign Policy after the Collapse of the USSR : Changes, Challenges and Opportunities."
Dr. Norma Mansor (MALAYSIA) was with the University of Malaya. Her research topic was "Organizing for Quality in Japanese Companies and Implementation in Malaysian Subsidiaries."
Mr. Bunn Nagara (MALAYSIA) was with the Malaysia Institute for Strategic and International Studies. His research topic was "Regional Integration in East Asia : Problems, Prospects, Possibilities."
Mr. Mirdin Eshenaliev (KYRGHZSTAN) was with the Bishkek International School of Management and Business. His research topic was "A Lesson of Japanese Banking Experience - How to Construct the Kyrghyz Financial System in the Near Future."
