Dr. Nargis Babadjanova (UZBEKISTAN) was with the University of World Economy and Diplomacy. His research topic was "The Japanese System: Comprehensive and Psychological Training and Retraining for the Leaders, the Managers and the Specialists in Economics, Politics and Law."
Dr. Igor V. Burakovsky (UKRAINE) was with the Department of International Economic Relation, Kiev University. His research topic was "Ukrainian Model of Market Transformation and Economic Envelopment: Some Lessons from the Japanese Economic Experience."
Dr. Teow See Heng (SINGAPORE) was with the Department of History, National University of Singapore. His research topic was "Japan's Cultural Policy Toward China, 1931-1937 : From the Manchurian Incident to the Eve of the Marco Polo Bridge Incident ."
Dr. Aleksandr Kozlov (RUSSIA) was with the Institute of State and Law, Russian Academy of Sciences. His research topic was "Constitutional Law of Japan and Russia : A Comparative Analysis."
Dr. Antoni Kaminski (POLAND) was with the Institute of Political Studies Polish Academy of Sciences. His research topic was "Institutional Transformation in the Post-Communist World, and Emergence of the New European Order."
Dr. Elena Samonte (PHILIPPINES) was with the Department of Psychology, University of Philippines. Her research topic was "Japan-ASEAN Relations : Heart to Heart Understanding."
Dr. Aileen S.P. Baviera (PHILIPPINES) was with the Foreign Service Institute. Her research topic was "China's Regional Security Perspectives in the Post-Cold War Era Implications for Southeast Asia."
Mr. Hanafi Guciano (INDONESIA) was with the Australia - Japan Research Center, Australia National University. His research topic was "East Asian Economic Integration : ASEAN & Japan Role."
